So many opportunities for photos at the Pride Parade but the parade moves quickly. I was lucky and had my camera on burst mode and took about 7 photos while this was happening. I liked this frame of the seven the best.
1/400s, f7.1, ISO 640. Shot with 24-105 f2.8 lens@79mm on Canon R5
Edited in LR – denoised, cropped <5%, slight adjustments to clarity and vibrance.
Nice action shot, Paul!
I was with a friend this year so I didn’t bring my Canon, just my pocket-sized fixed lens Ricoh, and most of the shots are pretty standard parade shots. I liked this pensive looking girl and the background identifies it as Pride parade. I set the ISO at 800 because we were in a shady spot.
ISO 800, 40 mm, f/5.6, 1/640 s
I took a street photography course once and they recommended using ISO 800 for all pictures.
