I went out by myself last Friday to the 68th Street Ponds across from Elliston Pond to see what was happening. The air was very hazy and humid so I decided to set my White Balance to cloudy. The birds weren’t very active and there were a lot of clusters of them. I focussed on this Great Blue Heron and I really liked the sleepy effect of the birds. I did sharpen the image slightly. Settings: Shot in AP, Focal Length 400mm, F6.3 , S 1/800, ISO 320.
