These 2 photos were taken with the intent to see how effective the processing of images on a 10 year old iPhone could be using a jpg as the original.
I like how the ground in the foreground was improved and Taz’s eyes can clearly be seen.
The first photo is with no processing except cropping to get the size below 3 mg.
Here is the processed one. Taz’s tail shows that they are 2 different exposures.
A nice improvement regarding colour tone.
Great Egret – JN Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve – Sanibel Island Florida
Beautiful composition. Love the sharp focus on the beak and the eye. The colourful beak contrasts beautifully against the cool grey and brown background.

I love this kid. I was shooting at a skateboard park in London UK while visiting my daughter. I have no doubt he was insulting me when he got up into my face and wiggled his fingers at me. And I’m sure he also had no idea how fast I can take a photo.
ISO 400, 32mm, f/11, 1/200 s
An older picture appropriate to today’s background theme.

Early morning sentinel guanaco watching for pumas in Patagonia.
Later in the day, still watching for pumas.
Great shot! The foreground and background mirror each other very well and illustrate a sense of place.

Taking photographs at a senior’s residence I was noticing how many people were using rolling walkers. These are essential to their mobility and quality of life. I had the idea to take a picture of one and edit it to get a picture that had a race car style.
