Great shot Paul – love the smokey background, really sets the mood so that you can almost hear the music! Perfect photo for b/w.
Thanks. I have taken a lot of pictures at Folk Festival Hall but I can’t remember them ever having a fog machine. It worked well and they should do it more often.
Huge room. Huge painting. Tiny person.
The person is reading the museum label of the painting “Voice of Fire”. For all the times I’ve stood before it, it has never enraptured me the way art critics say it should. But it is a good investment. It was bought by the National Gallery of Canada in 1980 for $1.76 and people say it would sell of $50 million today. So who am I to judge.
f/2.8; 1/60 sec; ISO 500
Love the juxtapostion!
Erratum…that is $1.76 MILLION not one dollar and seventy six cents.
Another photo of space overwhelming people. I shot this at the Central Library and intended to be an architecture photo. One woman was taking a photo of the other, they looked at it and went back for another shot, and another and another…So it turned out to be street photography photo
F/4; 1/80 sec.; ISO 400
Beautiful shot Nick. Love the symmetry and the position of the subjects at the end of the leading line.
Staircase in The Beltline. Shot with my iPhone. Edited in Photoshop. I used the AI tools in Photoshop to remove some elements on the red walls.
Love this abstract reality. Great find.
Wow! Amazing shot.
Very nice photo
Great impact in this one, Paul. The colours are so clean and “punchy”; excellent composition too.
You have a great eye backed by talent used in post processing Paul.
