2025-12-02 Silhouettes

The object of this challenge is to create images with a dark silhouette as the subject. This is especially appropriate this time of the year with early dark evenings and Christmas lights everywhere. Of course you don’t have to use Christmas lights as a background to contrast your subject. Sunlight reflecting in water works very well too. Click here for a video that shows how it is done. You can also click here for Google image search for inspiration.

Though we’ve been driving the roads east of the city lately looking for owls (not much luck), the timing was all wrong for a a great silhouette.
so I am sharing two of my favourite images form a Weekend in Tofino and sunset images along the beach.
