For something different this time. Let’s have a look at the not so pretty or not so positive aspects of city life. Think of lost or abandoned items, desolate back alleys or buildings and items that are past their prime. Let’s try to do this artistically.

Went to the Bowness railroad bridges this morning to photograph urban decay and its graffiti. I thought this was actually good art sprayed on the bridge supports.
Here is an overview of the bridge. I like the symmetry of this image.

Taken down an alley in Riga, Latvia. I was curious about the street and then I noticed the very uneven and old tiles. Dangerous to walk on without a cane! The stars were a bonus. Taken with my phone.

A long ignored fence on a retaining wall along a back walkway in Dalhousie. The fence is slowly falling into the backyard as the retaining wall leans out and falls slowly outwards towards the sidewalk. ISO 80, 6.8mm, f/1.8, 1/250s.
