A few weeks ago, I did a light painting workshop. Our model was dressed as a witch and the colored lights moved behind her. This was done with my 18-135 lens, on a tripod. The settings were ISO 100, F6.3 and 14.8 sec shutter. We used the remote for start and stop with the bulb setting. This was different approach than just set a shutter speed.

I seem to be the media person for my two grandson’s Glen Lake minor hockey teams. I do like watching the game from rink side and have slowly been figuring out how to take sharper images of a fast moving, even for 6 and 9 year olds, sport. In this picture I like the leading lines of the stick all pointing towards the puck somewhere in the goalie’s pads.
