Moody bridge shadows in Chalons-en-Champagne, France.
Amped up the darkness and contrast a bit
Chinook sunset on Grasshopper Hill…early February
I amped up the clouds a bit, but it was quite stunning all on its own.
Amazing wig shop in Brixton, London in February. I like shooting window displays.
iPhone ultra wide lens: ISO 200, 14 mm, f/2.4, 1/100 s
Great repeating elements. Love the hair colours in the front row.
Quite large fox in Bankhead. One of the few occasions I wish I had my DSLR and zoom lens not just a phone…
Great framing. Smart phone resolution not the greatest. Was this cropped and enlarged quite a bit?
Yes, the fox was probably 100 ft or more away
Shadowy hideaway (I believe this mountain lion is now dead). I like the bit of sunshine contrasting the shadows. Taken at the zoo.
f/6.3, 1/125, iso1250
For a month or two each year the shadow of the tree hits our garage at this angle and I try to capture the shadows of squirrels and birds. This was two years ago from indoors, hence the two muntins (had to look that up, not to be confused with mullions) in the glass door.
ISO 1600, 64 mm, f/14, 1/1000 s
Last day of our time at Monteverde, 500 metres from the end of the trail we finally saw a Quetzal in a tree – unfortunately we didn’t get the vibrant red chest but did get some decent shots from the rear and side
So many hummingbirds but this shot taken with my 150 – 600 telephoto at 435 mm ISO 200 f6.3 1/125s came out well, once I cropped out the feeder and other distracting elements of the original shot
