Tried double exposure with fun results. My garden gnome that I have been refinishing and my wall picture of the feather floating on the lake. Now to fine tune this process! Taken with my 18-55 lens. F4, 1/60 sec, ISO 6400.

I didn’t create this effect but just photographed the center of an abstract flower print that gave the impression of a flower. AP,F 1.6, S 1/60, ISO 200, 26mm FL, Matrix Metering.

This is another IPhone 6 image. It has a geometric, painterly, abstract feel. In reality it is looking up through multiple stairwells at the Alberta College of Art.

Very interesting photo – it appears that all lines are crooked…

Here is an image from 2019 I came across that I thought fit the theme. It is an upside down glass fruit bowl with bunched up Christmas lights underneath.

I had some fun with this picture. Orginally it was a picture of the reflection of trees on the edge of the Carburn Pond. I turned the picture 180 degrees and removed the edge of the pond. The ripple effect of the water gives an abstract feeling to the picture. Shot with my 70-300 mm lens with 1.4 X extender at f/7.1, 1/500 sec, ISO 400

Photo taken last fall in a moving bus near Banff (bottom photo). The light was surreal.
Since it was blurred I applied a filter in Gimp for an abstract -ish look (top).

adding a layer of the color from one of the ICM to the snow image in Photoshop. Not sure if it is an improvement

Steps leading to Seven Stones Winery Caves near Cawston in Similkameen Valley. I left the feet in the picture for effect. Not sure if it works.
Taken in July 2019.
