Spray roses at Shaganappi Valley 9 golf course provide unusual fall colour for Calgary in late September. The poplars in the background are just starting to turn. iPhone shot.

Nice composition. I really like the mood conveyed by the muted colour of the wheat field. It contrast beautifully with the evening sky.

From a Sept 30th early morning drive south to Diamond Valley and west up 546 to Sheep River Falls
We spotted a herd of Elk moving across a large field parallel with Hwy 22 South.
At 07:40am stopped quickly, bailed out of car grab longest lens and try and capture them before they started to move.

These pathways at Baker Park were amazing with the tunnel effect created by the overhead branches. I felt like this photo has a painting-like quality to it.. ISO 3200, 70mm, f/11, 1/500 sec.

I was out by Irricana and this old farm just spoke to me of days gone by. I remember my Grandparents having a house like this. Settings: Focal Length 185mm, F8, S 1/4000, ISO 1250, Auto WB, Matrix Metering.
