2025-06-17 Small Things

The challenge for the next two weeks is to focus your attention to the small things in the world. No restrictions, anything goes! Upload images no larger than 1600 pixels wide or 1050 pixels high.

Macro:
Here is a tutorial using low cost equipment. And here is another macro tutorial. This is an interesting tutorial that shows both the actual photography considerations and post processing

Close-Up:
Close-Up photography is not necessarily the same as macro photography, it is focusing on one aspect of a larger whole. Such as an interesting detail of architecture.

    The foregoing vegetation images are great, but I’m adding a couple of different “small things”.
    First, Mama mallard and ducklings about to cross the walking pathway on the south side of Earl Grey Golf Course the evening of June 23rd. Small ducks.
